Hello everyone! My name is Emiliia and I am from Lviv. Many people love my city for its old houses where you can walk for hours. I lived in one of them at 44 Konovaltsia Street with my sisters, mum and dad.
I loved to eat semolina with cocoa for breakfast - my parents often cooked me this delicious meal in the morning. And vermicelli - mmm, I adored it too. So much, it seemed I could eat only it!
I was the youngest daughter in the family. I went to the second grade. I learnt to play the piano and even took part in a real academic concert! At home, I enjoyed improvising on an old piano.
I was already skiing - my mum and dad taught me how to ski. I also went swimming.
I enjoyed studying. I had a lot of friends.
When people remember me, they say that I was goal-oriented and aware of my own desires and boundaries, and I had that good upbringing thanks to my caring parents. And so it was…
On 4 September 2024, at night, enemy missiles flew at my hometown. One of them hit our house and took my life, as well as the lives of my mother and my beloved sisters. My father miraculously survived. He established a scholarship fund at the Ukrainian Catholic University, which was named in honour of us - Emiliia, my mother Yevheniia and my sisters Yaryna and Dariia Bazylevych.
